Abstract

This article examines how research in mathematics education transforms teaching by promoting evidence-based strategies that address cognitive, cultural, and equity-related factors. It emphasizes inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, and technology integration to enhance engagement and understanding. The role of professional development and action research is highlighted as key to fostering effective, inclusive, and adaptive mathematics instruction.
