This essay examines the readiness of Philippine teachers to deliver nutrition-based education. While many are involved in school health efforts, most lack training, confidence, and institutional support. Studies show that with practical nutrition training and clear roles, teachers can significantly improve student health and learning outcomes. Strengthening teacher preparation and school systems is essential for effective nutrition education.
